Julien "Fuzzy" Graham

Julien “Fuzzy” Graham, 100, of Waupun, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Randolph Health Services. 

Julien “Fuzzy” Graham was born August 17, 1923 in Potosi, WI the son of Harvey and Pearl Buss Graham. Fuzzy was a graduate of Potosi High School in 1941. Following school he worked in Savannah, IL for about four years, and then joined the U.S. Army, serving in WWII in France, Germany, Belgium, and Austria. On November 16, 1946 he married Helen Hull in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all their married lives. Fuzzy was employed at National Rivet and Manufacturing in Waupun for 43 years, retiring in April of 1989. Fuzzy was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun and the IAM Union Local 1516. Fuzzy enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and was an avid tennis player.

Julien is survived by two daughters: Pam (Bill) Buchholz of Waupun, and Jodi (Dave) Steger of Waupun; seven grandchildren: Col. Ben (Flora) Buchholz, Dr. Emily (Dr. Joel) Jahimiak, Dr. Bridget (Adam) Dean, Karl (Jessica) Buchholz, Lydia (Jonathan) Koller, Andrew (Amie) Steger, and Jennifer (Michael) Dubik; 16 great grandchildren: Wesley, Julien “Jack”, Cora, Brooke, Whitney, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Warren, Graham, Ian, Vivian, Haylie, McKennah, Brandon, Julianna, and Brent; a brother: Gregory (Karen) Graham of Griggsville, IL; two sisters: Jeanine Hugill of Freeport, IL and Sharon (Texas) Greear of Urbana, IL; along with sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. 

Fuzzy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen; three brothers: Garland, Lowell, and Harlow Graham; and two sisters: Lillian Baumgartner and June Udelhoven.

Funeral services for Julien Graham will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Gwen Loomans officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Trenton where American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will present military honors. Friends and relatives may call on the family Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
