June Helen Neuendorf, age 85 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home.

June was born on June 4, 1938, in Reeseville, WI, the daughter of Edwin and Hattie (Steindorf) Yerges.  She was a graduate of Reeseville High School.  In the 70's she was the church secretary for First Ev Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  At that time, she was also active in the Beaver Dam Jaycees.  Following a move to Madison, she began a career in Human Resources for various homes/facilities for the elderly, both in Madson, WI as well as Dallas, TX.  Throughout her entire adulthood, she was surrounded by her dogs.  First her Cocker Spaniels and then her German Shepherds.

June is survived by her sister, Loraine Leistico. brother Gerald (Marlene) Yerges; Nephews and Nieces, Lynn "Ed" Leistico, Lori (Frank) Mittelstadt, Jean (Ken) Brown, Alan (Debbie) Yerges, Mark (Jennifer) Yerges, Jay Yerges, Cindy (Bryan) Peacock.  She is further survived by her daughter-in-law Marylee (Fanshaw) Neuendorf, as well as other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Brenda; her son Scott; and her brother-in-law William Leistico.

Special thanks for the compassionate care provided by her God Daughter Lori Mittelstadt, Holders of Hope, My Choice Wisconsin, and Common Heart Hospice.  Their compassionate care allowed June to remain in her home, per her wishes.

In honoring the family's wishes no services will be held.
