Karen was born on December 19, 1939 in Milwaukee to Ralph and Elizabeth (nee Krueger) Greiten. She was united in marriage to Werner G. Lehnert on July 2, 1976 in Milwaukee. Karen had several hobbies including camping , riding A.T.V.'s, bird watching, water skiing, raising dogs, watching football on television and traveling. She loved getting together with her family, whether it was going out to eat or shopping, she cherished the time she spent with them. She loved to raise and multiply geraniums and would split them out and give them away to family and friends. Karen was a member of Praise Assembly of God in Beaver Dam where she grew and shared her devoted faith. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Karen is survived by her husband, Werner G. Lehnert of Beaver Dam; her children, Debbie Griesmer of Hustisford, Cheryl (Jay) Schaefer of Juneau, John Eigenauer of Caledonia, Bonnie (Thomas) Griffin of Dover, Paul (Mary) Lehnert of Woodland and Gerald Lehnert of Woodland; her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Toni, Michael, Jordan, Paul "Cole" and Rachelle; two brothers, Richard (Fran) Greiten of Milwaukee and Tom Greiten of Kingman, AZ. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ralph and Michael.

A Memorial Service for Karen will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Rev. Randy Carey officiating. A Memorial Gathering will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, May 15, 2011 beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the time of Service. Memorials may be directed to Praise Assembly of God in Beaver Dam.
