Karen Mae Reynolds, age 59 of Markesan, passed away at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Karen was born on June 20, 1964, the daughter of William Kreif and Linda Elsinger. Karen worked for most of her life as a caregiver for Barrett House and Markesan Resident Home.  She was also a dedicated mother and grandmother cherishing time with family, especially baking family tradition Christmas cookies. Trips to Daytona Beach, Florida enjoying the ocean view and Ohio to visit the Columbus Zoo were some of her favorite past times. She also enjoyed traveling to the Wisconsin Dells regularly and she always made sure to enjoy a Duck Ride. In her free time Karen collected dolls and Barbies, she enjoyed watching soap operas and the Masked Singer, and could often be found listening to music and her favorite group BTS.

Karen is survived by her significant other, Larry Schulz; children, Dan Reynolds Jr., Tom (Jenna Flitter-Reynolds) Reynolds, Tim Reynolds, Ashley (Matt) Galica, and Mike Reynolds; grandchildren, Josh, Chris, Aleigha, Gwenny, and Mason; her father, William Kreif; sisters, Loretta (Carl) Lackas and Peggy (Cliff) Abitz; brothers, Dennis (Cindy Gudex) Kreif, Bobby Kreif and Jeremy (Heather) Jensen; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; mother, Linda Taplin; son, Brian Reynolds; and other relatives.

In honoring Karen's wishes private family services will be held.
