Karroll E. Harmon, age 88 of rural Markesan, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, July 29, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Visitation for Karroll will be on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Drive in Milwaukee. Burial will also take place at Pinelawn immediately following the funeral service.
Karroll was born on August 31, 1928 in Kenosha County, the son of Allison and Anita (Zimmerman) Harmon. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and earned the ranking of Corporal. On February 6, 1954 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Ferber. Throughout his working career, he worked at Everbrite Signs as a glass blower for 46 years
Karroll is survived by his wife Ann; two sons, Kary (Suzanne) Harmon, John (Gloria) Harmon, three grandchildren; Jason (Jesse), Corie (Ray) and Christina; five great-grandchildren, Artie, Lily, Charlotte, A.J. and Henry. He is further survived by two sister-in-laws, Dorothy Harmon, Eva Reinhardt; brother-in-law, Andrew (Carole) Ferber along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin brother Kenneth, a brother George; sister-in-laws, Elizabeth Harmon, Katherine (John) Zank and other relatives.
