Kathy A. Lind

Kathy Lind, age 65, of Mt. Calvary passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Kathy was born on February 6, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Peter and Agnes Koester. She worked at Richelieu Foods and Vintage Auto Parts in Beaver Dam. Kathy lived in various areas throughout her life, including Beaver Dam and Waupun, before eventually settling in Mt. Calvary. On April 20, 2013, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Lind. She loved spending time with her family and especially cherished her role as a grandma, or as she was affectionately called: “Mimi.” In her free time, Kathy could be found quilting, painting, cooking, and baking. Her biggest passion was gardening; she absolutely loved her flowers. Kathy and Bob also enjoyed traveling together, especially going out west to hike.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Bob; her children, Paul Murray, Chad (Stephanie) Murray, and Phillip Murray; her stepchildren, Ben (Brooke) Lind and Tim Lind; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Harper, Wyatt, Layla, Austin, Harleigh, Vivian, Brynley, and Blakely; her siblings, Sharon (Mark) Martens, Barb (Paul Boss) Koester, Brian (Theresa) Koester, Michael Koester, and Peter (Tonya) Calaway; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and other relatives.

Visitation for Kathy will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
