Kavari Montgomery, age 1 month and 24 days, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Kavari was born on October 13, 2016 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, the son of Darris Montgomery Jr. and Karissa Schroeder. He will be deeply missed by his parents, both of Beaver Dam; his grandmother, Marnie Schroeder; grandfather, Jeremy Gentz; grand-dad, Darris Montgomery Sr.; great-grandmothers, Donna Dye, Marlene Schroeder and Patricia Gentz; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra Faceson; great-grandfather, Hilbert Gentz; great uncle, James McNeal; great-aunt, Barbara Branch; and cousin, Latasha Carter.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Meriter Hospital, American Family Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

A Memorial Gathering for Kavari will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Service at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam.
