Ken Kastein

Kenneth H. Kastein Jr., age 83, of Neshkoro, WI, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by family.

Ken was born on August 23, 1942, to Kenneth Sr. and Cynthia (Vande Streek) Kastein. He graduated from Waupun High School in 1960 and went on to attend Madison Business College. It was in Madison where he met the woman who would become his wife and the love of his life.

On June 22, 1963, Ken was united in marriage to Donna Lee Bradford in Madison, WI. Together they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. While living in Fond du Lac, Ken and Donna raised their three daughters. Ken worked at Petrie Electric before moving to Ellison Electric, where he eventually retired.

Following his retirement, Ken and Donna moved to the family cottage on Tuttle Lake, which became their home for the past six years. During that time, Ken became a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Neshkoro, WI.

Ken loved and supported every member of his family, his friends, and everyone he came in contact with. He encouraged others and approached life with a positive attitude. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, taking road trips, listening to music, hunting for treasures, spending time at the farm, and being a witness to anyone he met.

Ken is survived by his wife, Donna Kastein; his children, Torie (Steve) Daane, Jodie Crouch, and Vicki Luczak; his grandchildren, Trevor Daane, Mitchell (Merri) Daane, Cole (Sierra) Crouch, Abigail Luczak, and Jack Luczak; his great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Kaiden; his sister, Nancy (Dale) Heeringa; sisters-in-law, Shirley Kastein and Darnell (Tom) Reppen; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ron Kastein; his sister-in-law, Marlene Alexander; and other friends and relatives.

Ken will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Ken will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gwen Loomans officiating.
