Keri was born on February 18, 1969, the daughter of Jim Polsin and Kay (Bergamann)(Polsin) Dykstra. She grew up in Lowell and graduated from Dodgeland. She lived in Arizona for a short time before coming back to Beaver Dam. Throughout the years, she worked at Wayland Academy, Benvenutos, KFC, Walmart, and Wodill Florist and Greenhouse.

Keri was a loving mother with a deep bond to her son. Her appreciation of beauty showed in her love of color, flowers, gardening, animals, artistry, and crafts. She had a soft spot for any stray cat and no matter where she lived, she always found a cat to love. She also loved the natural world; rare Burmese rubies on TV, fishing beside sparkling water, fall colors, the first mulberry, or a smoke break to watch birds were all part of that love.

Keri is survived by her son, Hayden; parents, Jim (Tamara) Polsin and Kay Dykstra; brother, Jason (Amy); grandmother, Marion; aunts, uncle, niece, and nephew; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
