Laura was born on November 4, 1966 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Robert and Lois (Weihofen) Cube. She first met her husband, Bill Sieja, in kindergarten and their relationship was rekindled years later. Laura and Bill were united in marriage on October 15, 2016. After relocating from Chicago, Laura found the peacefulness and serenity of rural Wisconsin to be something she greatly enjoyed. She loved being outside, whether she was soaking up the sunshine in the swimming pool, watching the birds or tending to her plants and bountiful garden. Laura was very thoughtful, generous and unselfish. She treasured her family dearly, spoiled her dogs with love and cherished the special bond she had with her step-son Brin. She had a knack for finding the perfect gifts to give to others and recently crocheted blankets for her unborn grandchildren. Laura was a relentless fighter, having battled cancer on three separate occasions, showing great courage and grace throughout it all.

Laura will be deeply missed by her husband, Bill Sieja of Beaver Dam; her children, Cory Cube (Amber Kowal) of McHenry, IL, Matthew Fitch (fiancée Yazmin Tapia) of Woodstock, IL and Skylar Fitch of Beaver Dam; her step-son, Brin of Beaver Dam; her first grandchild, due in November; her sister, Linda Cube of Elmwood Park, IL and her daughter and children, Brianna, Madison, Mason and Ryan. Laura was also very close with her in-laws, including her father-in-law, Don Sieja; two sisters-in-law, Sue (Steve), Patti (Jack) and their sons, Michael and Anthony. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and other relatives.
