Leonard "Len" Lauth, 64, of Beaver Dam, passed away on October 7
th
, 2018 at home in Beaver Dam.
A memorial gathering will take place at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:30 p.m.
Len was born October 18, 1953 to Virgil and Patricia Lauth. Len graduated from St Patrick's grade school and Beaver Dam High School. In High School he ran track, participated in forensics and performed in plays. He was also an active member in Leipsic 4-H, serving as President of the Dodge County Junior Leaders. After graduating high school he worked for the family dry cleaning business.
A talented actor, he continued acting in the Beaver Dam Community Theater in plays such as, "King and I", "Out of Order", "The Foreigner", "Lend Me a Tenor", and "Wait Until Dark". Len enjoyed hunting and fishing until medical issues prevented him from participating. He also enjoyed spending time in northern Wisconsin.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia of Beaver Dam; four sisters, Rita (Jack) Rhodes of South Beaver Dam, Janet (Fred) Minnig of Beaver Dam, Mary Pat (Bill) Boschert of Beaver Dam, Nancy (Paul) Thompson of DeForest; two brothers, Mike (Lori) Lauth of Waterloo, Tom (Terry) Lauth of Eyota, Minnesota, a son, two daughters, five grandchildren, and further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil, brother Richard, and other relatives.
