Lillian A. Young, age 90 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Lillian was born on August 2, 1927 in Hartford, the daughter of Louis and Lydia (Ullman) Jahnz. She was united in marriage to Donald H. Young on July 28, 1947 in Dubuque, IA. She enjoyed all of the time she spent with her family and friends. Summers were spent on the front porch, winters around the kitchen table, most often with a cup of coffee in hand. She also loved her African violets.

Lillian is survived by her children, Dennis (Therese) Young of Mayville, Patricia (Jim) Young of Beaver Dam, Donna Mae (Dean) Benter of Pearson, WI and Connie (Carl) Engebretson of Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren, Darwin (Carrie) Young, Angela Esquivel, Brian (Sandra) Benter, Jamie (Anne) Benter, Lori (Todd) Henschel, Tony Engebretson, Troy (fiancée Jessica Jacobson) Engebretson; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Frederich of Oconomowoc and Myrtle Christian of Mayville; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Donald, who passed away in 2009; and other relatives.

A private family graveside service will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
