Linda K. Wapneski, age 63, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek.

Linda was born in Fond du Lac on December 5, 1962, the daughter of Wayne and Genevieve (Hilden) Zielicke. She was a strong-willed and loving woman who cared deeply for her family and those around her. Linda owned and operated a pet grooming business, a career that reflected her love and passion for dogs. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, and designing and making crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Jody Wapneski.; step-daughter, Sheena Wapneski; her siblings, Karen (Jeff) Schroeder, Debbie Slager, Laurie (Peter) Schroeder, and Thomas (Carol) Zielicke; brother-in-law, Jayme (Marie) Wapneski; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Zielicke; and other relatives.

A graveside service for Linda will be held in spring.
