Lisa Jones

Lisa Jones, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Lisa was born on February 14, 1957 to John and Rita (Koch) Babler in Fond du Lac, WI. She was a 1975 graduate of Waupun High School. On January 28, 1977, she was united in marriage to her husband, Jeff Jones at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun.

Lisa held a multitude of jobs throughout her life but her true passion was caring for others. She loved people and found joy in taking care of them. Lisa enjoyed gardening, hiking, watching birds, antiquing with Jeff, and going for drives. She was a great dancer and even won a “Walk like an Egyptian” dance contest. She also enjoyed walking all over town and going out to eat, especially to a “fancy joint.” She was known for her infectious laugh, her kind heart, and beautiful smile; Lisa made everyone feel special, whether family, friend, or neighbor.

She especially loved her family, always eager to care for them and spend time together. After Jeff’s passing, Lisa found happiness, love, and blessing again with her Dear Brian.

Lisa is survived by her four wonderful children, Jacob (Christina) Jones, John (Vanessa) Jones, Jesse (Kelley Muselman) Jones, and Sarah (Vincent) Parenti; 16 grandchildren, Shane, Jessica, Alyssa, Evan, Addison, Teagan, Bennett, Liam, Carter (Alex), Benet (Marissa), Amelia, Sofia, Noa, and Lucia; one great-grandchild on the way; her mother, Rita Babler; her partner, Brian Bushweiler; his family, Erin Sanders, Kari Bushweiler, Violet, and Colin; her sisters, Linda (Joel) Sesing, Paula (Denny) Morasch, Virginia (Jeff) Amberg, Angela (Jack Beranek) Babler, and Theresa (John) Saley; her sister-in-law, Deborah (Kevin) Van Buren; her brother-in-law, Michael (Diane) Jones; and further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff; her father, John Babler; her mother- and father-in-law; and other relatives.

A memorial gathering for Lisa will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
