Lorraine P. Lee, age 90 of Ripon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Ripon Medical Center.

A graveside service for Lorraine will take place on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Reeds Corners Cemetery, town of Metomen, with Pastor Art Volkmann officiating.

Lorraine was born on the family farm in Ripon on July 31, 1926, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Fude) Pommering. She graduated valedictorian of Brandon High School in 1944 and worked for the Western Union Telegraph office in both Ripon and Baraboo where she met her husband, Raymond Lee. Together they owned a go-kart track near Devil's Lake and worked at shops in the Wisconsin Dells during the summer, wintering in Sarasota, Florida. Upon the death of her husband, she returned to the Ripon area to be with her family and friends. She attended Trinity Evangelical Free Church.

Lorraine is survived by her sister Arlene Roskos, nieces Sheryl (Kalton) Baumann, Carla (Pat) Pommering Mullowney, and Kathryn (Jack) Patterson; great-nieces and nephews Kalton Michael Bauman, Bobbi Jo Bauman Weber, Kelisha Pommering, Preston Mullowney, Alyssa Mullowney, Kathy Patterson, and Jack Patterson; as well as numerous great, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond; beloved nephew John Lowell Pommering; beloved brothers Charles C. Pommering and Lowell L. Pommering; and other relatives.
