Lucille C. Paul, age 93 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Lucille was born in Little Black, WI on February 7, 1920 to Louis L. and Erna (nee Carstensen) Reiter. She was united in marriage to Harold Paul on October 29, 1938 in Dorchester. Lucille co-owned Armstrong & Paul Distributorship & Restaurant in Horicon throughout the 1940's and later she and Harold owned Jo-Lee Drive-In in Beaver Dam from 1956 to the early 1960's. She was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church and Sunset Hills Country Club.
Lucille enjoyed fishing in her earlier years, golfing, cooking, and reading. Lucille loved being with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Lucille is survived by her children, Lee (Judith) Paul of Germantown and JoAnn Burchardt of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Kari Jo (Scott) Eberle, Brad (Jill) Burchardt, both of Beaver Dam, Jennifer (Damon) Gross of Germantown, and Lauren (Eddie) Hernandez of Waukesha; great grandchildren, Lindsey and Luke Eberle, Leah and Evan Burchardt, Jaden and Caleb Gross and Nolan Hernandez; a sister-in-law Arlene Reiter of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, a son-in-law Gerald Burchardt, siblings; Louis (Geraldine) Reiter (Louis was Lucille's twin brother), Wilbert (Dorothy) Reiter and Arthur Reiter along with a sister Clarice (Paul) Neubauer, brother-in-law, Lloyd (Harriet) Paul and a sister-in-law, Mildred (Jack) Armstrong.
A Funeral Service for Lucille will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 311 W. Mackie St., in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Mark Jensen officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service on Tuesday at church, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam with a luncheon to follow at Cornerstone, 135 Keller Blvd., in Beaver Dam .
