Lynne Virginia Schaefer, age 82 of Markesan, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022

Visitation for Lynne will take place on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Markesan United Methodist Church, 74 E. Catherine St., Markesan from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Country Memorial Gardens in the town of Marquette.

Lynne was born on October 8, 1939 in Milwaukee, to Herbert and Marion (Lutz) Sieglaff. Lynne was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her plants and flowers, and took special care of decorating for each holiday. Her family members enjoyed receiving the cards she sent throughout the year.

Lynne is survived by her children, Deb (Andy) Jahnke, Ken Schaefer, Lynda Clouse, and Dawn Schaefer; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew (Vicki), and Louie Jahnke, Samantha McCoic, Jacqueline Wood, Jakob Grams, and Ashley, Allen, Eric, and Emily Sutton; great-grandchildren, Owen, Weston, and Grahm Jahnke, Anthony McCoic, Roza Grams, Victoria and Sidney Wood, Terrance Lee, Isabal Smith, and Kloie and Kimber Bauman; brothers and sisters, Ronald (Barb) Sieglaff, Carole Handlos, Elaine (Dennis) Timm, Wayne (Michelle) Sieglaff, Tom (Irene) Sieglaff, and Neal (Ellen) Sieglaff; sister-in-law, Mary Sieglaff; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Marion; brother, Gary; sister, Karen in infancy; brother-in-law, William Handlos; and other relatives.
