On September 23, 1951, Mabel was united in marriage to Marvin A. Graff at Our Saviors Church in Ripon. She was a long-time member of County Line Lutheran Church, Markesan.
Mabel worked many jobs in her early years, as a waitress, clerk at Walgreens, Ripon Savings and Loan, and Hansen's Drug Store, Markesan. After marriage Mabel worked on their family farm in Markesan. She was devoted to her church, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, was on the Ladies Aid, and did custodial work with long time friend, Richard Grams. Her enjoyment was to sew, cook and bake. She loved watching her grandchildren grow up (they were her special angels).

Mabel is further survived by special nephews, Mark (Brenda) Podoll and Douglas (Jody) Grams; with special great-nephews, Eric and Travis Grams and many other nieces and nephews and special friend, Sylvia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin on September 20, 1980; her parents; 3 brothers, Eric, Roy, and Helmuth Jr; 3 sisters, Helen Podoll, Eunice Grams, and Fern Meyer; and 2 nieces.
In 2018, Aunt Mabel as she was known by was adopted by her family at Markesan Resident Home – North Terrace. She was cared for and loved deeply. We want to thank the entire staff for everything they have done (smiles, hugs, laughter, and tears). Aunt Mabel enjoyed the special attention of getting her nails done by Laura, playing bingo and winning blackout. Also a thank you goes out to SSM Hospice Care.
If desired, memorials in Mabel's name may be directed to County Line Lutheran Church.
