Marie J. Fellows

Marie Janeen Fellows (Hacker), age 61, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away on January 24 2026, at the Beaver Dam Health Care Facility. 

She was born on May 1, 1964, to Richard and Viola Hacker at St. Mary's in Madison. She had three older brothers, Gary Weber, Ron Weber, and Rick Hacker.

Marie was a graduate of Madison East High School and spent much of her life in the community. On August 17, 1986, she married Ray Fellows, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing in 2022. Together, they raised two children, Laurin (Dylan) Chisnell and Chad Fellows. Marie was also a proud grandmother to her only grandson, Crusoe Chisnell.

Throughout her life, Marie found joy in the simple things. She loved spending time outdoors, planting flowers, and watching the birds that visited her garden. A lifelong animal lover, she was rarely without her dog by her side, and the companionship of her pets brought her great comfort and happiness.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Ray Fellows, her brother Ron Weber, and her parents Richard and Viola Hacker. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandson, beloved pets, and all those who knew and loved her.

A private memorial service will be held in her honor. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Humane Society, a cause that was close to Marie’s heart.
