Marion Bresser, 94, of Waupun, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.
Marion was born September 12, 1920 in the town of Alto, the daughter of Cornelius and Christina Van Buren Bronkhorst. On September 6, 1940 she married Lyle Bresser in the town of Waupun. Marion and Lyle resided in Waupun all their married lives. Following their children’s schooling, Marion became employed as a cook for Hopp’s Restaurant in Waupun for several years. Marion was a member of First Reformed Church in Waupun and its women’s groups.
Marion is survived by two sons: Ronald (Linda) Bresser of rural Brandon and Doug (Judy) Bresser of San Diego, CA; six grandchildren: Brent (Susan) Bresser, Brian (Pat) Bresser, Todd (Stacy) Bresser, Lance (Mindi) Bresser, Becky (Mike) Kops, and Nathan Bresser; a step-granddaughter, Tracy (Mike) Real; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Harold DeMotts; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; three sisters; and three brothers.

Friends and relatives of Marion Bresser may call on the family on Wednesday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Marion Bresser will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Susan Bresser officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
