Marvin Bille, 84, of Waupun, died Thursday evening, April 12, 2012 at the Christian Home & Rehabilitation Center in Waupun with his family at his side.



Marvin was born May 11, 1927 in Waupun the son of Herbert and Minnie Rens Bille. On September 20, 1948 he married Arlene Kastein in Alto. Following their marriage the couple resided in the Waupun area all their married lives where he farmed for several years. In 1973 he was employed by Mercury Marine and worked there for 19 years, retiring in 1992. Marvin enjoyed buying and selling farm machinery for Derksen Implement. He was a member of First Reformed Church in Waupun where he served as a deacon and elder.

Marvin is survived by his children, Robert (Kathy) Bille of Waupun, Lorna (Byron) Harmsen of Waupun, Ronald Bille and his fiancée Sharon Goebel of Fond du Lac, Randy (Roxie) Bille of Waupun, and Luanne (Andy) Amend of Waupun; eight grandchildren, Kristen (Tommy) Hart, Todd (Missy) Bille, Kim (Doug) Kamphuis, Brent Harmsen, Scott (Kelli) Bille, Casie Amend, Alex Amend and fiancée Erin Schaalma, and Jordan Bille; 10 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, MacKenzie, Dylan, Katerina, Brenden, Abby, Trott, Adri, Bree, and Ayden; a sister, Minnie (Lester) Van Buren of Waupun; two brothers, John Bille of Waupun, and Bernard Bille of Waupun; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene in 2008; his parents, Herbert and Minnie Bille, his step-mother, Lizzie Koekoek; two sisters-in-law, Ethel Bille and Catherine Bille; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Loomans.


Services:
Funeral services for Marvin Bille will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Bob James officiating.

Burial:
Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery in the town of Alto.

Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Marvin Bille may call on the family on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
