Marvin W. Bruns, age 88 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

A memorial gathering for Marvin will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral and Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Marvin was born in Crofton, Nebraska on September 22, 1935, the son of Arnold and Alma (Thunker) Bruns. Marvin married Rose Boecker on September 20, 1955 in Crofton, Nebraska.

Marvin is survived by his 7 children Rita (Allen) Seltzner, Cleo (Gary) Paulman, Keith (Phyllis), Joseph (Vicki), Verlin (Donna), William (Debbie), and Roger (Mary); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanette "Bunny" (Ken) Ward; brother-in-law, Melvin Gubbles; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; his parents; sister, Althea Gubbles; infant brother, James; very special cousin, Jerry Thunker; and other relatives.
