Mary L. Paul, age 67 of Fox Lake and formerly of Beaver Dam, died surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Mary was born on March 8, 1941 in Watertown to John and Genevieve (nee Kurkowski) Maslowski. On January 31, 1959 she married Warren Paul at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Mary worked at Miller's Restaurant in Beaver Dam and later was a teacher's assistant for students with special needs for CESA 13 for 22 years and also at Head Start for 3 years. She was active in A.R.C. and enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, cooking, doing ceramics and playing cards. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she cherished all of the time she spent with her family.

Mary is survived by her husband, Warren Paul, Fox Lake; her children, Robert (Nancy) Paul, Arbor Vitae, WI, Dawn (Bob Locy) Dinkel, Beaver Dam, Janet (Alberto) Alicea, Vienna, VA, Scott (Karen) Paul, Appleton, WI; one sister, Sharon (Rueben) Greenfield, Beaver Dam; and three grandchildren, Nicole (David) Auber, Mukwonago, WI, Vanessa Paul, Beaver Dam, Nathaniel Paul, Manheim, Germany. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service for Mary will be on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. Beaver Dam, with Rev. Dr. Mark Molldrem officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff and doctors of Wisconsin Heart and Meriter Hospital for all of the loving care they provided throughout the past 10 years.
