Mary Lou Pearson, age 82 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Juneau.
Visitation for Mary Lou will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at Cornerstone. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mary Lou was born on February 8, 1943, to Edward and Edna Schoppe in Beaver Dam. On September 1, 1962, she was united in marriage to James Pearson at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Grove, WI. Mary Lou worked at Glasfloss Industries in Juneau for 31 years until her retirement.
Mary Lou enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, NASCAR and the Brewers. She also loved spending time with her family, especially going to her grandchildren's sporting events.
Mary Lou is survived by her two children, Brenda (Robert) Propst of Beaver Dam, Gary (Retta) Pearson of Lake Mills; four grandchildren, Steven (Stef) Propst, Mitchell (Ashley) Propst, Alissa (Garrett) Conley and Blake Pearson; three great-grandchildren; Carson, Brooks and Kennedy Propst along with Baby Conley due in December. She is further survived by her brother, Gerald (Janice) Schoppe of Fond du Lac; brothers-in-law, Walter (Debbie) Pearson, Charlie Pearson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Bucklew all of Alabama along with nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband James in 2014 and other relatives.
