Mathias H. Rettler, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Randolph Health Services.

Mathias is survived by his children, Joseph Estermann, Mary (Clifford) Jurvelin, Christine (Robert) Caloun, Frieda (Tim) Scharf, Heidi Wagner, Kate (Steve) Tollers, Lynn (Daniel) Westfield, Lisa (Gregory) Bright, Al (Linda) Estermann, Sandy (Martin) Westfield, Charles (Jill) Estermann; and further
survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents,  Frank and Aurelia Rettler; his first wife, Lorraine Rettler; his second wife, SanDorothy Estermann Rettler; siblings, Henry (Lydia) Rettler, Jerome Rettler, Ray (Marie) Rettler, Marie (Bernard) Walters, Anna (John) Strupp, Rosia Rettler; and other relatives.

A private family service will be held. Burial will take place at St. Kilian Cemetery in Hartford.
