Maurice "Mo" Andrew Mack, Jr., age 88 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
Mo was born on August 15, 1936, in Beaver Dam, the son of Elsie (Burchardt) and Maurice Mack, Sr. and. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On October 16, 1993, he was united in marriage to his wife, Laura Sage at First Ev. Lutheran Church. Mo dedicated 36 years working at the Shoe Factory, followed by 20 years at Karavan Trailers. He continued working until the age of 80, with many other jobs throughout his lifetime, ending at Christian Family, performing in home care. Mo loved spending time with family and could often be found hunting, fishing, gardening, playing cards, working on puzzles, watching NASCAR, diamond painting, or partaking in a good old fashioned. He enjoyed taking road trips, especially to Mercer and Alabama, was always up for an adventure, and never turned down a piece of sour candy.
Mo is survived by his wife, Laura Mack; children, Kim (Duane) Winterscheidt, Mike (Sarah Wagner) Mack, Shari (Greg) Mack, Jenny Contreras, and Stacey (Jayce) Pavloski; 14 grandchildren, Russell (Kristin), Ashleigh (Thomas), Drew (Kristen), Amanda (Tasha), Aubrey (Caleb), Tyler, Tanner (Birdie), Katlin (Jesse), Molli (Cody), Jarrett (Cate), Austin, Abigail, Angelica, and Marissa; great-grandchildren, Quentin, Aiden, Maliah, Ashton, Chase, Paisley, Zorina, Tinsleigh, and Korah; sister, Karen (Rob) Ruiz; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sandy Dutton, Barbara (Terry) Goetsch, Debra (Jim) Johnson, Pat (Joe) Wagner, Willis (Marcey) Sage, Louis (Judy) Sage, James (Denise) Sage, and Jeannine Mack; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James (Fran), Dennis, and Gary (Shirley) Mack; father- and mother-in-law, Willis and Helen Sage; sister-in-law, Linda Schock; brothers-in-law, John Harmsen and Bob Dutton and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Mo will take place on Friday, March 28, 2025 at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 311 W. Mackie St., Beaver Dam from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton, with military honors provided by the John E. Miller American Legion Post 146.
