Obituary
Michael Seigner, age 90 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Michael was born on April 4, 1926 in Kirchdorf, Germany, the son of Michael and Elizabeth (Stoeckl) Seigner. He was united in marriage to Katherine Aschenbrenner on June 24, 1950 in Milwaukee. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II, where he was part of the invasion of Okinowa and the occupation of Japan. Michael worked for the Milwaukee Police Department as a Sergeant, serving for 32 years. He was a member of VFW Post 1691, American Legion Post 415, the Retired Police Association and the Milwaukee Police Department Supervisor's Organization.
Michael is survived by his wife, Katherine of Beaver Dam, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter JoAnn Lisa Seigner and infant daughter, Lisa Ann Seigner.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 W. Nash St., in Milwaukee.
