We deeply mourn the loss of Michael Stuart Goodson, who peacefully passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 79. He was born on September 4, 1943, and resided in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, United States.

A Masonic service, and a time for sharing memories will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 5:30 at the Beaver Dam Masonic Lodge located at 1212 DeClark St. Beaver Dam, WI.

Michael was the beloved son of Price and Katherine Goodson, and brother to Rodger (Beth) who preceded him in death. He was a devoted husband to Judy, whom he married in 1986. Together they shared a life that stood the test of time and inspired many. He was blessed with three children, Shawn (Mary Ann) (with former wife Jackie), Kiley (Andrew) (with former wife Kathleen), and Matthew, who will cherish his memory forever. In addition to his children, Michael leaves behind five grandchildren.

Michael was a man of strong faith, and his unwavering belief in God guided him throughout his life. He was a dedicated member of Dodge County Lodge No. 72 of the Free and Accepted Masons, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His calm demeanor and gentle nature had a positive impact on those around him, and he will be remembered for his warmth and eternal optimism. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to inspire future generations

He was a mentor, a friend, and a beacon of hope for all who knew him. Michael was also an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed coaching his son's sports teams. He and son, Matthew spent many hours on the golf course.

Michael fought a long and brave battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, but his determined spirit could only take him so far. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.

Although we mourn the loss of Michael, we also celebrate the life that he lived. Michael's family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support that they have received during this difficult time. His presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in our memories.

Rest in peace, Michael. You will be missed.
