Michelle Lea Falkinham of Beaver Dam, WI passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 after suffering a sudden illness.

A memorial gathering for Michelle will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Michelle was born on March 5, 1973 to Michael and Wanda (Tremelling) Kratochwill at Madison General Hospital in Madison, WI. She attended Lake Delton Elementary and Wisconsin Dells High School where she participated in cheerleading, softball, volleyball, band, and choir, among other activities, graduating in 1991. Michelle went on to attend UW Madison, studying political science and international relations, graduating with a double major in 1996. During that time, she met her future husband, Jeff Falkinham. They were married on October 19, 1996 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells. They resided in the Madison area where she worked for the Justice Department's Handgun Hotline.

In 2003 Michelle and Jeff moved to Beaver Dam, WI. Michelle eventually left her job with the Justice Department, and started working for the Beaver Dam Unified School District as a secretary at Jefferson Elementary. She later took the position of District Registrar at the District Office, which she held until the time of her death. She also worked at Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's for several years as a Gun Vault Specialist. She was a knowledgeable and valued employee and co-worker, and was dedicated to both careers.

Michelle enjoyed volunteering, especially when her kids were involved. She volunteered with Beaver Dam Youth Baseball and Softball and the Beaver Dam High School Athletic Booster Club. She also participated in several other organizations/groups both online and in person. Michelle enjoyed getting together with friends for wine-walks, craft nights, or just hanging out. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, and spending time with her fur-babies Phineas and Orla.

Michelle will be deeply missed by her husband, Jeff Falkinham of Beaver Dam; her children: Nathan (Destiny) Falkinham of Holmen, WI, and Ryan Falkinham of Beaver Dam, and her precious grandson Parker Falkinham of Holmen, WI. She will also be missed by her parents Michael and Wanda Kratochwill, her brothers Christopher (Marin) Kratochwill and Robert Kratochwill, her mother-in-law Janice Falkinham, her nieces and nephews, and other extended family. Additionally, she will be missed by her very good friends Josh (Dusty) Johnson, Fred (Vicky) Smith, Rich (Karen) Sanders, and her special friends the "Wild Roses".

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Mary's Hospital in Madison for the excellent care they provided Michelle during her stay there.
