Norman Kerecman, age 70 of Fox Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home.
Norm was born on September 3, 1941 in Ironwood Michigan. For four years, Norman was a proud member of the U.S. Navy. On April 24, 1965 he married Norine (nee Sasse) in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Norm worked for A. O. Smith Corporation in Milwaukee as a Senior technician, where he worked on numerous projects such as water heaters, fiberglass drive shafts, Corvette springs, Lear Jet parts, research/development and also completed a patent. From Milwaukee they moved out to Slinger, where he and Norine spent most of their years with their two children, Todd and Tacey. After many years of dedication and hard work, Norm and Norine were able to retire to a beautiful and quiet area of Fox Lake. Norm loved the wildlife near his home as well as his four cats; Mandy, Tinker, Petu, and Lucky.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Norine; his two children, Todd and his wife Lori of Boulder Junction WI, and Tacey and her husband Rock of Stevens Point WI; and seven grandchildren, Andy & Ashly of Boulder Junction WI, and Daniel, Adam, Gage, & Salem of Stevens Point WI. Norm is also survived by his brother, two sisters, nieces and nephews of Lower Michigan. Also one cousin of Milwaukee.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends
Honoring Norman's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
