Otto A. Lienke, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 10, 2008, at Meriter Hospital, Madison.

He was born December 31, 1925 in Columbus, the son of Otto F. and Esther (Henning) Lienke. He married his wife, Jean (Nickerson), on October 25, 1952. Together they enjoyed 55 wonderful years of marriage. Otto farmed his entire life and farming was simply his passion. In his free time, Otto enjoyed getting away to the northern woods of Wisconsin. His presence, sense of humor and great "one-liner's" will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Otto is survived by his wife Jean Lienke; four children, Leon (Marilyn) Lienke of Beaver Dam, Karen Lienke of Jacksonville, Florida, Robert "Sam" Lienke of Fox Lake, and Mary (Jim) Rosplock of Roscoe, Illinois; eight grandchildren whom were all the "apple of his eye": Matt, Aaron, and Kate Lienke; Ryan, Kyle and Lauren Hale and Michael and Ben Rosplock. Otto is further survived by one sister, Bernice Hemling; two brother-in-laws; two sister-in-laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering time in remembrance of Otto will take place on Monday, January 14, 2008 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam. Following the visitation, a luncheon will be held at the Funeral Home. Private family services will also be held.

Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services is honored to be serving the family.
