Obituary
Patricia "Pat" A. Bednarek, age 74 of Fox Lake, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at home.
Pat was born on October 11, 1941 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Hopp) Allen. She was united in marriage to Daniel Bednarek on September 17, 1960 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. She worked for over 20 years at Rockwell in Randolph, and also worked at Fox Lake Elementary School and Jennifer's Restaurant. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Parish in Fox Lake. A lover of the outdoors, Pat especially enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time at the family farm in Princeton. Pat also liked crocheting, collecting cardinals and playing Rummy 500 and Sheepshead. A true caregiver at heart, she loved taking care of people and treasured all of the time she spent with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also looked forward to traveling and visiting her family in New Mexico.
Pat is survived by her husband, Dan Bednarek of Fox Lake; her children, Theresa (Mark) Bromberek of Beaver Dam, David (Pamela) Bednarek of Beaver Dam and Tim Bednarek of Fox Lake; her grandchildren, Stacey, Michelle, Nathan, Aubry, Kiena and Dalton; her great-grandchildren, Keagan, Keyara, Mia, Jaxon; her sister-in-law, Mary Hopp of Rio; the family dog, Miley and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, August and Vivian Bednarek; her brother, Robert Hopp and other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 305 Green St., Fox Lake with Father Mike Wild as celebrant. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass at church, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
