Pat was united in marriage to Levi (Lee) Snyder on June 27, 1953, at the Methodist Church in Elroy. Pat and Lee celebrated 71 years of marriage together and he was the love of her life. They had 6 children and 19 foster children over the years. They lived in Middleton, Verona, Black Earth, Wisconsin Dells, and the last 32 years in Markesan.
Pat was a woman of strong faith who loved the Lord and He was the center of her life. Pat volunteered at summer bible camps for many years as a cook, especially at Camp Jackpine in northern WI. Summer camp at Crescent Lake Bible Camp with her family was a highlight in her life. She loved her church families and thru the years was very involved in Black Earth Congregational Church, Lake Delton Bible Church, and Markesan Bible Church.
Pat was a very loving, caring mom and grandma. She was very involved in their lives and always interested in what they were doing. She loved talking to them on the phone and visiting with them. Family get-togethers were her favorite, especially when everyone came home.
Pat was an avid reader and read many books over her lifetime. She also loved to crochet. She enjoyed creating things and then going to craft fairs to sell what she had made. She loved garage sales and watching the birds at the feeder out her front window, with cardinals being her favorite. Pat loved to cook and bake and had a wonderful sense of humor.
