Patrick Allen Schwantz, age 53 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from cancer.

A memorial gathering for Patrick will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.

Patrick was born on October 15, 1963 in Beaver Dam to Alfred and Nancy (Draheim) Schwantz. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School and went to college at Minnesota State University, where he worked in security for the college and graduated with a degree in Law Enforcement. On August 21, 2006, he married Brenda Jacobs. For the past 19 1/2 years, he was employed as a Sergeant in the prison system for the State of Wisconsin in Waupun. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and loved football season.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Brenda, his parents, and his sister, Jennifer Lawson, all of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
