Rev. Paul F. Hudson, age 82, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.
A memorial service for Paul will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 215 Gould St., Beaver Dam from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Keith Jones officiating .
Paul was born on November 7, 1941 in Pittsburg, PA, son of the late Rev. Dr. Paul F. Hudson and Elizabeth V. Hudson.
Paul graduated high school from Kiskiminetas Spring School in 1960, attended college before graduating in 1968 from McCormick Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. His ministry journey stretched from Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon to Horicon/Hustisford, to the East Coast and eventually ending 55 years later back at Horicon/Hustisford. When he returned to Horicon/Hustisford, it was only part time. In 1989, he received his AODA counselor/supervisor license from Zablocki VA Medical Center and Paul worked with several different agencies, including the prison system. In his spare time, he loved to read, attend the Milwaukee Pops Concerts and Broadway Shows, as well as travel abroad.
Paul is survived by his wife, Jennine; their son, Michael (Allison) Hudson; their daughter, Karen (Travis) Burd; their grandchildren, Jacob, Liam, Kate, Carly and (his birthday buddy), Campbell. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Barbara Hudson of Erie, PA and Julie (Rick) Armon of Beaver Dam; his brother-in-law, Jim Zuelsdorf of Fox Lake; as well as his nephew, David (Lisa) Hudson, Erie, PA, his nieces, Robyn (Quentin) Mooney, Brittany (Kevin) Haugen, Christine (Christian) Zuelsdorf, and nephew, Alexander (fiancée, Abigail) Zuelsdorf. He is further by a great niece, Lucy Mooney; great nephews, Weston Mooney, Collin Hudson, Ryan Hudson, Aidan Hudson, and Owen Hudson; and Baby Haugen, due May 19, 2024; as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and Tommy; and other relatives.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Amy Muchow and Marshfield Home Health and Hospice Care for their care of Paul.
