With love in our hearts we celebrate the life of Pennylyn Minnig, age 52, who passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. Born and raised in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Penny was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother whose kindness touched everyone she met.

A memorial gathering for Penny will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m.

Penny's greatest pride and joy in life was her family. She was a loving and supportive mother to her children, Ella and Leo George, and the most adoring grandmother to her grandson. Penny poured her heart into her family—always cheering the loudest,offering her love and encouragement, and always making sure they knew how proud she was of them.

Penny dedicated 30 years of her life to Dodge County Social Services, where she helped families with compassion, strength, and unwavering care. Her work was more than a career—it was her way of making the world a better place, one family at a time.

She is survived by her loving children, Ella George (Bradley Warmka) and Leo George (Ella Schweiger); her brothers, Peter Minnig, John Minnig (Laura), Bill Minnig (Tinker), and Randy Minnig (Tammy); the father of her children, Thomas George; the light of her life, her grandson, Kasen Warmka; along with her lifelong best friend, Amy Schneider; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Walter Minnig, and her brother, Paul Minnig and other family members.

Those who knew Penny will remember her as one of the strongest and most loving souls—a woman whose kindness had no limits, whose strength inspired everyone around her, and whose love for her family was her greatest joy.
