Philip Duscheck, age 78, passed away at home on Thursday, June 18, 2026 with his family by his side.
Phil was born on September 12, 1947, the son of Roland and Viola Yuds Duscheck. He was a 1965 graduate of Markesan High School before joining the United States Air Force in 1966. He then starting work at the Shoe Factory in Waupun, where he met his future wife, Beverly Sanders. On July 3, 1972, they were united in marriage at Alto Reformed Church. Phil worked at Lapers in Fairwater, Robin Manufacturing, Markesan Canning Factory and Cambria Canning Factory. He spent most of his career at National Rivet where he worked as a machine operator for over 42 years, retiring in 2016. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling.
Phil is survived by his son, Joseph (Christine) Duscheck; his grandchildren, Allen and Amber (Trevor) Duscheck, and Hailey and Jason Duscheck; his sister, Diane Duscheck); his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Arlynn (Bonita) Sanders, Jerold (Debbie) Sanders, Mary (Bill) Bruins, and Cheryl Sanders; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly on March 21, 2026; and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Phil will take place on June 26th at Trinity Reformed Church in Waupun from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Bryant Brozik officiating.
