Rene Guerra, age 74 of Beaver Dam, passed away on May 25, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam.

A memorial gathering for Rene will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Rene was born on July 7, 1947, in Chicago to Raul and Natalia (Compian) Guerra. On January 12, 1983, he was united in marriage to Romona Schuld in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Soon after, they moved to Beaver Dam. Rene enjoyed being outside, particularly hunting and riding his motorcycle, as well as thrifting and attending swap meets and gun shows.

Rene is survived by children, Allen, Toby (Patrice), Rene Jr, Dora, Ricardo, Ned, Jonathan, and Jason; grandchildren, Ariana, Gavin, Cameron, Aliyah, and other grandchildren; great-grandson, Anthony; siblings, Raul (Virginia) Guerra, Reuban (Virginia) Guerra, and Lucia Guerra-Martinez; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Romona in 2013; sons, Aaron and Lucillo; and other relatives.
