Richard "Butterball" G. Davis, age 68 of Randolph, passed away peacefully at The Bay at Water's Edge in Kenosha, on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

A memorial gathering for Richard will take place on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Markesan United Methodist Church, 74 E Catherine St, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kyochul Shin officiating.

Richard was born on March 22, 1955, the son of Warren and Lona Mae (Davison) Davis in Markesan. He was united in marriage to Patricia Fichter on April 28, 2001, at Markesan United Methodist Church and was a dedicated member of the church. Richard was a family man and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In his free time Richard enjoyed gardening, being out in the community, and attending tractor pulls.

Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Jennifer (Wake) Quinn and Del Decker; four grandchildren, Vincent, Jacob, Sophie, and Josie; brothers, Herb Davis, and Gilbert (Betty) Davis; sisters, Margaret Davis, and Lisa Davis; and further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many special Amish friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Lona Mae; son, Christopher; brothers, Bob, and LeRoy; sister, June; and other relatives.
