Richard L. Sack, age 81 of Juneau, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Visitation for Richard will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.

Richard was born on July 23, 1944, the son of Leslie and Esther (Kraft) Sack. On November 15, 1969, he was united in marriage to his wife, Darlene Schmidt; at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Richard grew up farming and raised black angus cattle. He enjoyed going flying with his father and learned to dance to his dad's polka band. His love of polka music continued throughout his life, dancing to it with his wife whenever he could. Richard was a truck driver for most of his life, but his passion was always motorcycles. He also enjoyed photography and tinkering with vehicles, motorcycles, and various electronics. He had the uncanny ability to fix anything.

Richard is survived by his wife of 55 years, Darlene Sack; children, Debbie (William) Ziehme, and Todd (Marla) Erdman; grandchildren, Selena (Geoffrey) Clark, Dylan Ziehme, and Haylee (Ian) Blahnik; great-grandchild, Archer Blahnik; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Steven (Mary) Schmidt, Lois Ebert, Elaine Franke, Kris (Mike) Erdmann; and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Esther and Leslie; in-laws, Walter and Loretta Schmidt; stepmother, Dolly Sack; brothers-in-law, Bob Ebert and Pete Franke; his beloved dog Beretta, and other relatives.
