Richard P. Krueger age 68 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Richard was born on January 15, 1943 in Beaver Dam to Paul W. and Leona (nee Ludwig) Krueger. On September 21, 1968 he was united in marriage to Judy Schmidt in Beaver Dam. He worked for Kirsh Foundry in Beaver Dam and later at Weyenberg Shoe Factory for several years until his retirement. Richard was a very hard worker which made him appreciate his "toys". He enjoyed mowing lawn, snow blowing and watching Westerns.

Richard is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Judy of Beaver Dam; his daughter Jackie (Doug) Guthrie of Sun Prairie; two grand-daughters, Bekah and Abby and a brother Bill Krueger of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

A Funeral Service for Richard will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam with Chaplain Doug Hedman officiating. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton and a luncheon will follow back at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Beaver Dam Community Hospital Foundation, 707 South University Ave. in Beaver Dam
