Richard S. Parzy

Richard Stanley Parzy, age 82 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. 

Richard was born on February 8, 1944 and grew up in Beaver Dam. He was the youngest of two children. He worked at Kirsch Foundry, Schafer's National Rivet Company, and eventually retired from working construction. He was married to Marlene Peters for 23 years before they parted ways. They had 5 children together.

Richard enjoyed model airplanes, putting together model cars, and his prize possessions were his show cars, which he won many trophies for at car shows.

He is survived by his loving companion, Mary B. Krueger of Beaver Dam; his children, Tammy (Robert) Bussewitz of Beaver Dam, Cari VandeZande of Waupun, Chris (Dan) Slosser of Waupun, and Patty Parzy of Waupun; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Parzy; his sister, Sharon Nehmer; and his parents, Stanley and Lorene Parzy; and other relatives.

Richard will be remembered for his strong faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for his love of family and friends.

A memorial gathering for Richard will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
