Richard R. Pritchard Sr., age 72 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Dycora Transitional Health in Beaver Dam.

Richard was born in Beaver Dam on July 15, 1946, the son of Harold and Elaine (Simonson) Pritchard. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked as a small engine mechanic for Taylor Rental. On August 3, 1968, he was united in marriage to Audrey Mintzlaff in Beaver Dam.

Richard is survived by his children, Richard Pritchard Jr. of Beaver Dam, and Lynda (fiancé, John) Karl of Horicon; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Charlie (Pam) Pritchard, John Pritchard, Diane (Ed) Surprise, and Debbie (Gene) Gossen; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey; sisters, Lauretta Kikkert and Shirley Smith; and other relatives.

A private family service will be held.
