Richard L Sande, age 66 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly at St Mary’s Hospital on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Richard was born January 19, 1960 to Harold and Geraldine Sande in Madison WI. Richard was raised in Morrisonville, WI. He graduated from DeForest High School.
Richard was a dedicated waiter and bartender who spent his life serving others with kindness, warmth, and a smile that made everyone feel welcome. He had a gift for making people laugh, feel at ease, and leave with a brighter day than when they arrived.
Richard found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan who wouldn’t let anyone miss out on a score update. He loved camping, spending time with family and friends at gatherings, and collecting memorabilia of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe. Whether sharing stories around a campfire or enjoying time with those he loved, Richard cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with family and friends.
Those who knew Richard will remember him as a true joy and a blessing to have in their lives. He had a generous heart and was the kind of person who would truly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His compassion, kindness, and selflessness touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved parents, brother, loving partner, his dogs; Lucy and Jordy.
He is survived by his sisters, Anna Sande and Carol Sande; his nieces and nephews; his great-nieces and great-nephews; many dear friends; and all whose lives were made richer by knowing him.
Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in the countless memories, laughter, and love he leaves behind. Richard’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
