Robert Fenrich

Robert “Bob” Fenrich, 86, of Waupun, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Bob was born February 16, 1937 in Waupun, the son of Joseph and Rachel Ten Pas Fenrich. Bob was a graduate of Waupun High School and following high school began his career in the auto body business from which he retired. Bob married Charleen “Chum” Boelk and the couple raised their two children, Roberta and Kurt. Bob served with the U.S. Army National Guard, and served a year at Fort Lewis, Washington during the Berlin Crisis. Bob enjoyed baseball and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and just enjoyed the outdoors.

Bob is survived by his children: Roberta (Dan) Braun of Beaver Dam and Kurt (Andrea) Fenrich of Waupun; five grandchildren: Alex (Elizabeth) and Nicholas Fenrich, Teri Voigt, Stephenie Tjepkema (Bob Reyes), and Danny Braun; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Julie Bartow of Waupun and Kutzy (Larry) Kastein of Tomahawk; a sister-in-law, Diana Fenrich; and nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his past wife, Chum; sisters: Marilyn Luedtke and Nora Oelke; and a brother, John “Jack” Fenrich.

Funeral services for Bob Fenrich will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Dennis Overlien officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
