Robert “Bob” Harold Hatfield, age 86, passed away on April 14, 2026.
Bob was born in Richland Center, WI on February 16, 1940, to the late Harold and Mary Hatfield. Bob was happily married for 54 years to Jean Ann Hatfield, the mother of his five children. Bob was a proud Chrysler Motors employee and UAW Representative. He worked hard throughout his life and loved harder. Bob took pride in his ability to fix just about anything and considered himself a lifelong learner. He enjoyed little things in life; a slow morning spent on the dock fishing, treasure hunting, attending car shows, spending time with family and friends, hunting, cooking, gardening, and listening to music. Bob was an honest man and a true friend with a deep Christian faith. Later in life Bob found his new companion, love, and wife, Deborah Fierke. Together they created many memories and found great joy in each other.
Bob is survived by his dear wife, Deborah Fierke Hatfield; his children: Kelly Chavez, Daniel Hatfield; John (Margenia) Hatfield, and Teresa (Dave) Musso-Piazza; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hatfield; grandchildren: Rachel (Erik) Johnson, Renee (Eric) Capp, Ryan (Sherry) Hatfield, Andrew (Meghan) Chavez, Amy (Branden) Diaz, Mindy Hatfield, Bobby Hatfield, Amanda Hatfield, John Robert Hatfield, Justin Hatfield, Leo (Megan) Musso, Sam Musso; eight great-grandchildren; step-children: Aaron (Susie) Nummerdor, Zoey (Michael) Scherer; five step-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Ray (Alice) Hatfield; Pat (Dick) Hansen, Rosie (Ron) Coy; and Susie (Phil) Bendorff; and his little dog, Yoshie.
Bob was preceded in death by his late wife, Jean Ann Hatfield; son, Chirstopher Hatfield; grandson, Aaron Chavez; brother, Bill Hatfield; and other family members.
Private services will be held.
If desired, memorials in Bob’s name can be made to Beaver Dam Loaves and Fishes.
Though Bob is no longer with us, his impact continues in the lives of those he touched. You will be forever missed.
