Robert "Bob" Lee Harder Sr., age 75 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Bob was born on October 3, 1936 in Kansas to Howard W. and Zelma (nee Roberts) Harder. He honorably served his country in the United States Army and National Guard. On March 19, 1962 he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Bates in Topeka, Kansas. Bob worked for many years at Arco Pipeline. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding motorcycle. He was a Disney enthusiast, especially a huge fan of Mickey Mouse. Bob also enjoyed occasionally going to a casino with his friends. His true passion was his family. He cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and his grand-puppy, Wade. Bob will be deeply missed by his family.
Bob is survived by his children; Robyn (Jim) Coleman of Beaver Dam, David M. Harder of Florida, grandchildren; Tosha Harder, James (Katie) Coleman, Ethan Coleman and one great-grandson, Trent. He is further survived by the mother of his children, Judith Bates of Kansas, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, a son Robert Lee Harder Jr. and his wife Jenny Harder, a sister, Delores and her husband Ben Daniels and a brother Ronald and his wife Phyllis Harder, along with other relatives.
In honoring Bob's wishes, a private family service will take place and inurnment will be at a later date in Kansas.
