Robert "Bob" L. Royal, age 62, of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2008 at his home.
Bob was born on January 7, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to Horace and Vernie (Rajnowski) Royal.

He graduated from Dilworth High School and attended Moorhead State College in Moorhead, MN. He worked in finance in several states, prior to working for Wil-Rich in Wahpeton, ND. He relocated to Beaver Dam, WI in 1982. After working there for 13 years, he joined McFarlane Mfg. in Sauk City, WI as a sales representative. On October 25, 2005 he was united in marriage to Wendy Jacobsen in Negril, Jamaica. Bob was a car buff, enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with his wife and sons. He enjoyed relaxing around the campfire, watching football and playing with his dog, Sophie, and cats. He will be sadly missed by many.

Bob is survived by his mother, Vernie of Dilworth, MN; his wife Wendy of Beaver Dam; his two sons, Garrett of Beaver Dam and Jason of Fort Eustis, VA; his two step-children, Janna (Scott Christopherson) Jacobsen, Verona, ND and Ryan (Alisa) Jacobsen, Woodstock, GA; three step-grandchildren Zackery and Zander Christopherson and Awnley Jacobsen; two brothers, Ronald (Lynette) Royal of Fargo, ND and Michael (Christine) Royal of Dilworth, MN. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Horace.

A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam with Rev. Dr. Mark Molldrem officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services were held on Wed. July 16, 2008 at 1:00p.m. at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, North Dakota with Interment taking place at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota.
