Roger Dean Baumel, age 63 of Cambria, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Roger was able to retire early from Saputo Cheese, Inc. in Waupun where he was a Master Cheesemaker and supervisor. Retirement allowed him to focus on the things he enjoyed most in life. Fishing and being in the woods gave him such peace and joy. Sailing, hunting, driving his tractor or just sipping a cup of coffee were other favorite activities.

Roger loved being with his sons, Peter and Brian. He was so proud of both of them. Roger met Kelly 11 years ago and they became inseparable. Never a day passed without sharing hugs and an "I love you!"

Roger was devoted to his parents, Victor and Rose Baumel. He had two brothers, Richard and Vic Baumel. A sister, Terry preceded him in death. Roger was close to his good friends, Mike Dahl and Doug Jenkins.

Roger you are so loved and respected. We will miss you forever.

Private family services for Roger will be held.
