Roger Rabehl passed away at the age of 89,on January 21, 2025, in Oakdale, Minnesota, surrounded by family. Roger had moved to Minnesota from Las Vegas in February 2023.

Roger was born June 22, 1935, to Harley and Margaret(Paul) Rabehl. Roger attended Fox Lake schools and entered the Army in 1954. After serving in France, he went to work at MetalFab in Beaver Dam,where he worked as a machinist. He met and fell deeply in love with Helen Klotzbach and they were married on Oct. 1, 1960. They lived in Beaver Dam until 1985 when they moved to Las Vegas, after Helen was transferred with KMart. While in Vegas, Roger worked at Imperial Palace.

Roger loved watching Packers football and Chicago White Sox Baseball. While at The Waters of Oakdale,  he was known as "the Packer guy". It wasn't always easy being a Packer fan in Minnesota, but Roger held his own and enjoyed the friendly banter. His famous saying "Wait until next year" was heard more often than he would have liked, as baseball season ended.  He also enjoyed collecting antique car banks.

Roger is survived by his two daughters, Kelley (Mark) Parish and Debra Ahlers. Roger is survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Steve Rabehl and Keith Rabehl. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and other family members.

Helen was Roger's life partner of 51 years and she passed suddenly in 2011.  Roger was also preceded in death by his son, Paul, his parents, son-in-law Cal, siblings: Don, David, Beverly, and Joyce, brothers-in-law Herb and Sonny and sisters-in-law Jan, Shirle, and Sharon.

Services to celebrate the lives of Roger and Helen will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025.  A graveside service for Roger and Helen will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton at 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will then take place at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam, at 12:00 p.m. Following the service, a time of fellowship and gathering will continue at Cornerstone from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

If desired, memorials in Roger's name may directed to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
